Owl perches atop Christmas tree

It apparently fell down the chimney. In Arlington, Virginia.

Homeowner Savannah Burgoyne said she was baffled when she heard a strange sound coming from their fireplace while looking after her baby. A few hours later, she recalled her dog becoming nervous and barking. She then entered the living room to find a feathery intruder atop their Christmas tree.

Speaking to NBC Washington, she said: "I walked into our kitchen and there was a huge owl sitting on our baby's highchair." After shooing the bird away, the owl flew to the top of the Christmas tree where it remained. The mother added: “It’s a magical Christmas moment that it felt comfortable on top of the Christmas tree.”

Later rescued by the Animal Welfare League of Arlington.

Laws are flexible in Pakistan, money talks,as its right on the border with India I wonder if it's an Asiatic Gir lion?
It's ridiculous, not to mention cruel, to keep a wild animal like this in a domestic situation.

There's a bloke in Nottingham with a few lions in his back yard.Theres more tigers in captivity in America than there are in the wild.

Yes I've read that about the USA. Seems it's also legal to keep wild cats in the UK as long as you have the relevant licence..

The presenter is one annoying fecker. Couldn’t watch too much of that.
He is quite amusing hence his number of subscribers, always willing to try something new and gets around the world.
