Good point - should it be knee-mo or nay-mo? I've always assumed the former.

However, as you say, we always tend to go with Ever-est, even though I know that the man himself was Eve-rest.

Yes, I remember my Latin, but assumed "Point Nemo" was pronounced the anglicised way (whether named after Verne's character or the animated clownfish, I don't know!).
