I think Gold was used in small amounts in certain illustrations. It’s more impressive when you imagine how the book must have flickered in candlelight.

Already mentioned I bought a Fuggler (plush toy with teeth) for my Sister-in-Law. Before wrapping it I gave the teeth a blast with a torch to see if they were luminous as advertised. Yes they glowed a bit, maybe the eyes too, but not bright enough for a photo - so I stuck Fuggler, my head and camera under the bed covers. Luminosity was insufficient for the camera to pick up and I had a blank photo, but using a very simple photo editing prog I hit upon auto colour correction, which worked fine and dandy. Wonder what else is in the dark that me and the camera can't see.

Damn the cost cutting on our metro is getting ridiculous, there have though been a few incidents of van drivers etc turning onto the metro tracks by accident.
