I rented a TV in the 90s when I was a student - it meant we could get a huge one (for the time) with NICAM stereo!
Serbian made car Yugo had radiators built for the back end windows ... in order to warm your hands while pushing it....Our first car was an Anglia and we were always pushing it. Even downhill sometimes.
It's like the famous Lego Prof Hawking. It's the crochet Bernie Sanders – yours for $20,300! Don't worry, it's all going to charridee, Meals on Wheels America. Equally good is that Ol' Bernie himself is using the image on sweatshirts to raise money for the same charity! It's fantastic how accurately the look has been captured.

I genuinely dreamt I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago. Everywhere I went people laughed and took the piss. The boot wouldn't lock, the doors could be opened with a hair-clip and 2 out of 3 times it wouldn't start. I agreed that it was a piece of crap, but I loved it in my dream. It was also beige, like the one my parents had when I was a kid.I would just like to say that moving on a tiny bit of time the Ford Cortina Mkiii (my first car) was, and still is, a thing of beauty.View attachment 34303

I told my brother about it the following day. His response was "Did it have a passenger side orange wing where a younger brother put his hand through the original swinging on it and the wall, it was so rusty". It looks like both of us had fond memories of that car.
I wish I knew what the dream meant?
Whenever I see the Thames logo I start humming the theme from The Sweeney.
Looks like he's playing a bum note.
I always read it to myself as thaymes rather than tems. Attempts at phonetic spellings there.Whenever I see the Thames logo I start humming the theme from The Sweeney.
Da na na, da na na, da da da da da da da da da da, da na na...Whenever I see the Thames logo I start humming the theme from The Sweeney.
a friend’s dad had a brown 2.0l ghia and managed to get all the way home from work in it before he realised it wasn’t his car.I remember the key from mine was just as good at opening a couple of friends cars as it was at opening mine!
I had different memories.Whenever I see the Thames logo I start humming the theme from The Sweeney.
I played the French horn for about seven years when I was at school and I can confirm this isn't normal. He doesn't appear to be using a mouthpiece, for a start.
This is a graphic illustration for 1/28th (circa 3.6%) of the cumulative amount of earth's ice that's melted away since 1994. For the full story see:Above: According to the European Space Agency (ESA), "one trillion tonnes of ice can be thought of as a cube of ice measuring 10x10x10 kilometres". In this illustration, that ice cube, which the ESA says would be taller than Mount Everest, towers over New York City.
He's *ahem* inhaling.I played the French horn for about seven years when I was at school and I can confirm this isn't normal. He doesn't appear to be using a mouthpiece, for a start.![]()

Ballpoint pens are amazing tools. This video uses a special paper but with practice it can be done on any surface. Bear in mind the writing is also quite small.Done with a ballpoint pen (two per picture)!

Joe Elliott of Def Leppard (thanks to a Tineye reverse image search). I thought somebody ought to put you out of your misery!Who's man who isn't Brian May?
It's not Joe Elliott (he's Leppard's singer), it's Phil Collen.Joe Elliott of Def Leppard (thanks to a Tineye reverse image search). I thought somebody ought to put you out of your misery!
I notice your signature is from The Prophet's Song. I've often wished someone would arrange that for a choir to sing.My two all-time-favourite-ever guitarists, over the years:
