So there I was, feeling a bit refreshed, after my first shave for three days . . .

As I replaced the cap, I noticed the image on the shave-gel.

Now where did they get the idea for that? :sstorm:

I think that's a reference to the lawyer Nick Freeman - AKA Mr Loophole - who put forward that excuse (one of four!) for Sir Alex Ferguson when he was charged with avoiding a speed camera by driving down the hard shoulder in 1999.

"He had a stomach upset, feared he was about to be caught short and was frantically trying to get to the toilet at Manchester United’s training ground."

And that is only one twentieth of the Greggs in Toon.

According to The Sun:

Newcastle has been named the Greggs capital of the UK, according to a recent study. The city has a whopping 29 outlets – that's the equivalent of 9.9 stores for every 100,000 people

Here's a set of 3 photos illustrating a bizarro (but more or less successful) unplanned parking maneuver. You can access the video at the link below.

Extreme parking! Moment car flies off road and bounces over three vehicles before crash landing in empty space
  • The car hurtles around a bend on a dual carriageway in Chongqing, China
  • Motorist loses control of the vehicle and crashes into the curb of the pavement
  • Car bounces over stationary vehicles before landing in empty parking space

That’s because the first Greggs was opened 80 years ago in Gosforth. It spread to most towns throughout the region and then, the whole country.
They must be doing something right.
