The young George Orwell looked a little like Johnny Knoxville!
It's not him unfortunately although that is Ernest Hemingway in the background. Enola's found a Snopes link to show this picture's been doing the rounds since 2013 online falsely labelling the puppy guy as Orwell.

Inside a starship, watching puny humans from afar
Anyone know what this is?

Two stones neatly tied together, hanging from a tree in St Andrew Church, Paull, East Yorks.
It was about 4 foot inside the boundary fence, 6 foot off the ground. there were no graves nearby.
The largest stone was about 3 inches across, the string looked like garden twine.
I'm guessing it would be what passes for 'art' these days.

If one must drink tea, it should be the Arab Chi. Brewed for about a week, three spoons of sugar added, and served in little glasses by a man who sells it at the side of the road.

It’s a Yorkshire weather station: If the stones are wet, it’s raining; if they’re clacking together, it’s windy; if you can’t see them, it’s foggy.
