Last weekend I had an old school friend over, who I haven't really seen for years.
Somehow we got around to his partner telling me that back in the late 60's early 1970's her mum worked as a cleaner for a journalist living in West London. They were on great terms, and she - as a toddler - would regularly go along, while her mum did the cleaning.
I find it quite awesome that last Saturday afternoon I sat next to someone who would sometimes sit on Mark Arnold-Foster's knee as he bashed out The World at War on his typewriter.
