I avoided watching this at the cinema,since it was slated by all the critics,but watched it last night and really really enjoyed it.Everything an alien invasion movie should be this was.Apart from the crap last minute which spoiled it a bit

Ooo-er! I watched it on DVD last night too! :O
I agree though, the ending... WHY?? Is there a sequel ready to be released straight to DVD?
The extras are amusing though, the pre-visuals using basic CG animation.
That woman's eyes though... I w onder if she's related to Meg Foster.
Dec ent special effects, not bad plot, but could have elaborated.

We saw this at t'picatures when it came out. We enjoyed it. I particularly liked the huge scenes of destruction and desolation. :shock:
