It’s an age-old gag at this point – testing the limits of just about any kind of electronic device with a built-in display by asking the question, “Can I run DOOM on this?”
We’ve seen everything from calculators, spreadsheets, fridges, ATMs, Myki machines, vapes and even pregnancy tests. But in a video from creator Aaron Christophel, a new and altogether more terrifying question has been posed – can it run DOOM while also jerking me off?
And the answer, for the betterment or wors…erment of society at large, is that you most definitely can run DOOM on a high-tech sex toy designed for the pleasure of those equipped with a penis. And in taking it that extra, sticky step above most of the other hacky DOOM concepts we’ve seen to date, this mod takes fully into account the function of the device the game is being run on. What I’m trying to say is that polishing off demons in this version of DOOM will do the same for the user.
The horrifically-named “Dong Doom” project works on a Tifforun, which is basically a fancy fleshlight that features button controls and a screen – perfect for playing DOOM. But not only can you play the game using the device’s various controls for basic movements and shooting, the in-game action has been tied to the Tifforun’s vibration and… stroking features. Firing a shot will give you a bit of sensory feedback, while killing an enemy will give you exactly one full motion. Capisce?
