Have to say that although I'm no Catholic, I do like the idea of saints.

When entering a Church in France, I advise never to start a conversation with the faithful by saying "J'aime beaucoup les saints. Vous aussi, à ce que je vois ...".

Yesterday while rifling the joint for the lost thing I came across a short length of red ribbon. It's the other half of the scrap that I tied the medal to. Wondering now whether I should order another medal.

Well French does have quite a small vocabulary, so puns are remarkably common (like the word for saint sounding like breast)!

I collect figurines of saints. It's nice to remember real people who made a connection beyond the material world and often did something good because of it.
