Dogs are back.

Lady Gaga's two stolen French bulldogs have been found safe and handed in to police, according to officials.

The two dogs, stolen in an armed robbery, have been "reunited" with the singer's representatives, police said. Lady Gaga's dog walker, Ryan Fischer, was shot by two men who abducted the dogs in Hollywood, Los Angeles, on Wednesday. He is in hospital and his family said on Friday that he was expected to make a full recovery.

Details of how the dogs were recovered are unclear. The Associated Press said a woman had brought them to the Olympic Community Police Station in LA and the singer's representatives had confirmed they were hers. The woman appeared to be "uninvolved and unassociated" with the robbery, a police spokesman said.

Lady Gaga had offered $500,000 (£359,000) for their safe return but it is not clear if the reward has been claimed.

I might be pretty naive in relation to guns, but if the pics are of the suspects, how did they walk into the McDonalds without anyone knowing they had a shotgun? The one guy is wearing a tank top and, although the other is larger, he is wearing a shirt that I can’t picture would cover up a shotgun.

As I understand it the guys pulled the shotgun out only after they'd moved to the parking lot, after they'd exited the building and staff had followed them outside.

Hoax caller jailed after making false report to police

A man who made a hoax call in attempt to get his colleague into trouble with police has been jailed for 10 months.

Ashley Hall, 26, a Labourer, of The Nurseries in Bognor Regis, dialled 999 at 4.07pm on 26 June and reported seeing a man waving a machete out of the window of a car in the Burgess Hill area.

Due to the seriousness of the report, this triggered a significant emergency response involving over 20 officers, including armed police.

The defendant gave officers the vehicle registration and it was traced to a location in Brighton, prompting police to close roads so the suspect, thought to be in possession of a weapon, could be safely detained. At no point did he claim to know the victim.

The victim was detained in Brighton and interviewed by officers who determined he was not in possession of a weapon and had not been in Burgess Hill at the time of the allegation.

In police interviews, Hall admitted the report he made to police about the victim was untrue.

He confessed that he wanted to get the victim in trouble following a workplace disagreement and wished to scare him by calling police....

Cops: Ex-Con Used Cat To Clobber Man

I saw a documentary on Sky Arts a few weeks ago that was about rock drummers and drumming. Obviously Keith Moon was mentioned in it, and a guy who'd been friends with him was interviewed.

Apparently, this friend went around to Moon's house, which he shared with his girlfriend, the Swedish model, Annette Walter Lax. On entering the house he quickly realised that Moon and Lax were upstairs and in the middle of a terrible row. There was shouting, screaming, the sounds of things being thrown, until; after a particularly heated outburst Lax came downstairs.

There were bloody scratches down her face and, understandably, the visitor was outraged. He leapt to his feet and demanded to know what had happened. She shrugged and replied "Ees nothing. Keith, he throw ze cat at me".

I thought, when I heard this, that that must be pretty extreme, rock-star, behaviour. It seems, based on the above story, that the use of cats as projectile weapons is not as uncommon as I believed! :)

Banksy prison mural: Rival's name appears on artwork

Street artist Banksy's mural on the walls of a derelict prison has been defaced with red paint.

The image of an escaping prisoner - possibly resembling famous inmate Oscar Wilde - appeared on the side of Reading jail on 1 March.

It featured a typewriter at the bottom, but this has now been covered up and the words "Team Robbo" appear below.

Robbo was a graffiti artist who died in 2014 . He had been in a long-running feud with Banksy.

Kolby Parker, 30, told deputies he and his grandfather, Ronald Wells, Sr., were smoking marijuana when there was a confrontation. Parker claims he was only acting in self-defense when the older man attacked him with a knife.
