Suggestions About Re-Organisation: Move & Merge Requests

I keep in mind that I am a very new member in the forum but I would humbly like to make a proposal. I believe that there is enough material to merit a joint analysis of topics such as crop-circles, fairy-rings, strange species of plants, weeping trees or rainig-trees, giant mushrooms, anomalous growths, man-eating plants, sacred ancestral plants. Part of the posts are found in these two forums Fortean Flora & Earth Mysteries: The Land
I have those materials in my files collected in Cryptobotany but surely you will be able to find a much more suitable name

If you post links to the specific threads you have in mind here, the ones you think worth moving or merging, we'll make a quick decision as to whether we agree.

I am amazed that we've had Fortean Fungi in the 'wrong' section for so long. I've now moved it to Fortean Flora as you suggest.

As to the other two, I'm going to leave them in Earth Mysteries. Although they both involve plants and plantlife, they are usually discussed with reference to their significance in ufology/folklore.

What I mean to say is that the plant is the medium here, not the main focus. The fungi or wheat could be theoretically replaced with arrangements of rocks, ice shards or lego blocks and creation, form and function would still be the predominant points of enquiry—wheat and fungi are merely the media.

Oh dear! Back less than 24 hours and I've been involved in two major diversons - Historically Inaccurate Films and Countryside Walks.

Please, when they are excised can they go into chat to see if they grow?
