Tech Help (Beyond This Forum)

Get well soon.

Cheers, Myth.

Seems to be half dozen minor things that may or may not be related. I think I'd just prefer one palpable pain: I'm pretty good with honest pain, it's all this ambient grottiness that depresses me.

I might give them a call and arrange a future date.
yeah its a case of, if it starts to repeat, get rid of it somehow ... ive had some client laptops over tbe years that ive persevered with, ive wound up physically punching the crap out of them in frustration, sheer hatred in fact ... worst offenders are keyboard and mouse, so poorly rendered these days ... dont get me started on tablets/bluetooth ... or touchscreen phones for that matter

Yes, a clutch of minor ailments are worse than a good solid injury!

Get Well soon! (I won't say; break a leg.)

I'm about to switch from McAfee to Windows Defender so I might have some issues to report.

Or do you share an Ebay account? Or a PayPal one? That can do it.

We use different flavours of browser.

No, we don't share any accounts like that. I am going to try searching for lime green teapots or something like that with the browser on private and see if he gets adverts for them tonight.
Google for something embarrassing. Heh heh.

This youtube video has a picture, probably mortuary in context (!).

I'd like to do an image search on it but I can't get hold of it :( Please can someone either explain how to or just do the damn search for me lolololol :comphit:

and then edit it down to just the picture? that would be neat..... :D thank you Henry!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_Man#/media/File:Shebbear_Devon_gravestone.jpg Here you go Frideswide

This is a scan from a transparency which I took in the mid 1970s at Shebbear in Devon, England. It shows a gravestone with a carved skull sprouting flowering vines, perhaps a symbol of resurrection. This scan is in the Public Domain (however, I retain ownership and copyright of the original transparency and any higher-resolution scans derived from it). If this image is used outside Wikipedia a photographer's credit (Simon Garbutt) would be much appreciated! SiGarb 23:00, 23 November 2005

Oh James_H! mwahmwahmwah! :fhtagn: Dancing Cthulu is DANCING!

Can anyone please help me to re centre my windows screen on google chrome, the screen has slid over too far to the right leaving a couple of inches of my wallpaper to the left and it's doing my nut in .. thanks ..

Ugh, creepy. :spider: No I don't, and thought I might chat to my husband about stuff it won't be specific enough to send the exact thing I was looking at to his screen.

*resolves to learn sign language*

It's because you share the same search engine or you are logged into a joint google account. Google looks at what you search for and then spams adverts for the same stuff.

You could try setting up a new google account and log in and then use chrome.

You could try settings rightside of page the 3 little grey dots. Then go advanced settings and then do a reset which should restore it to it's original appearance.

I've done that but now it's just showing loads of porn? (just kidding, thanks mate, that's worked a charm)

We don't but private browsing seems to have solved the problem. Thanks all the same.

Can anybody supply a free .cue splitter for OSX (Mac)?
