Its been mentioned in passing here a few times but I thought it worth its won thread - esp. as Tartan are releasing a new R1 DVD (and have a good R0 out here).

They are both incredible films - I'm still unsure if I want to get them on DVD as it is an ordeal. One well worth going through (I've seen both films numerous times over the years) but not quite the one you'd picture yourself sitting down to on a quite Wednesday night.

Cracking movies both. I asked for the first DVD for Christmas from my mum last year. Bless Tartan for having the big spinning metal willy shot on the cover - that went down very well.

Shinya's other stuff is awesome too. Bullet Ballet is great

The review and synopsis seem confused and there is menton of a possible extandable metal penis at some point but it doesn't quite sound like Tetsuo.

Its been out since the start of the year.
