I rather enjoyed the first book of this series, and artist Ken Garing is kickstartering a sequel series. If you dig European sci-fi, the art of both Richard Corben and Mobius, and like positive adventure, this series is worth a look!

The series follows the adventures of a boy named Armano who summons the mythical GOGOR to confront the forces of the Domus, a malicious army set on conquering the islands of Altara and conforming it's various cultures to their ways.
