Not creeped out yet? Did I mention it's right next to an old cemetery in a tiny town in the middle of the desert?

Lots of pictures to be found here: http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/clown-motel-tonopah

Did I mention the clowns, because there are clowns, lots of clowns, clowns everywhere....

And the old cemetery dating from the Wild West, which is right next to the parking lot.

Nevada desert...explains why the wooden grave markers haven't rotted.

It's popular ...
The Clown Motel has become quite the Tonopah landmark!
It was named “America’s Scariest Motel” due to its clown theme and proximity to the Old Tonopah Cemetery. Many people are terrified of the Clown Motel, even though, according to owner Bob Perchetti, they only have “happy clowns”. People from all over the world send clowns to the Clown Motel, and the collection now numbers over 600.

Make sure you grab a Tonopah Old Cemetery Walking Tour Brochure from the office and explore the cemetery while you are at it.

Come to Tonopah and make a stop at the Clown Motel, maybe even test your bravery and stay the night!
All your friends will be jealous. Or think you are crazy. Either way it’s a great conversation starter!
