Gilbert Deya obviously took "Fools and Horses" as Gospel! :p

Remember the Peckham Spring Water affair? :D

Or the mass production of pre-blessed communion wine!
At least he wasn't a total cheapo, didn't use corn oil.

A self-proclaimed "Archbishop" is selling olive oil from Aldi as a miracle cure for cancer and HIV, it has been claimed.

Gilbert Deya, 63, a Kenyan preacher who calls himself the Archbishop of Peckham, is selling the £1.99 750ml budget supermarket product in his church shop in south London for £5, according to The Sun.

He claims to have "anointed" the oil and suggests that if used on food, it can make cancer "disappear"

Deya, who runs Gilbert Deya Ministries- which is said to have a UK membership of 36,000 - also claims that he can give infertile couples "miracle babies".

Deya again, he has been extradited to Kenya to be tried for child trafficking charges. His wife has already been convicted of baby stealing.

NAIROBI, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- Britain has extradited controversial preacher Gilbert Deya to Kenya to face child trafficking charges, the British embassy said on Friday.

A statement from the British embassy in Nairobi said the 65-year old televangelist arrived at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 4.40 a.m. Friday aboard a Kenya Airways flight.

"Controversial Gilbert Juma Deya arrived back in Kenya this morning following ten years of appeal in the UK courts against his extradition," the embassy said.

"The Briton and Kenyan authorities worked closely together on Deya's extradition. He is wanted in Kenya for child abduction and trafficking charges," said the embassy.

Deya was an evangelist in Kenya in the late 1980s to early 1990s, but moved to the UK, establishing Gilbert Deya Ministries in 1997.

The preacher who runs an evangelical church in Peckham, southeast London has been on the list of most wanted persons for human trafficking since 2004 ...

I think this fits here given Deya's antics.

More than 160 children have been rescued from a "baby factory" and two unregistered orphanages in Nigeria's main city, Lagos, an official has said.

Some of the babies and children had been sexually abused, Agboola Dabiri added.

It is not uncommon for Nigerian authorities to raid "baby factories".

In some cases, unmarried pregnant women are promised healthcare, only for their children to be taken away. In others, women are raped and made pregnant.

The babies can be sold for adoption, used for child labour, trafficked to Europe for prostitution or killed for ritual purposes.

More baby factories in Nigeria.

Nigerian police have freed 19 pregnant women from properties in Lagos, which they describe as "baby factories".

Most of the women had been abducted "for the purpose of getting them pregnant and selling the babies", a police statement said. Two women who operated as untrained nurses have been arrested but the main suspect is on the run. Police said that male babies would be sold for $1,400 (£1,100) and the females for $830. They added that the children were to be trafficked, but it was not clear who or where the potential buyers were.
