PALM BEACH – The little black book of Jeffrey Epstein, the Palm Beach millionaire convicted in a sex scandal, is filled with the names of heads of state, celebrities, British royals and scores of underage girls!

And its publication is the latest installment in the sex-slave saga surrounding the Wall Street investor who spent 18 months in a Palm Beach County lockup for soliciting underage girls from poor suburban neighborhoods to have sex with him for cold, hard cash.

While the scandal occurred in the mid-2000s, court documents show that a former Royal Palm Beach Community High School student who became Epstein’s favorite when she was just 16 has been squawking that Epstein “lent” her to friends when he needed favor.

And some of the names that Virginia Roberts, now a young mother who lives in Colorado, mentioned to authorities as some of the men she had sex with at Epstein’s request just popped up in a little black book in court files in West Palm Beach’s federal court.

The biggest name?

Epstein’s black book, which found its way to authorities through Epstein’s former house manager, does include British blue blood Prince Andrew. Andrew, one of Queen Elizabeth‘s sons, is alleged to have bedded Roberts when she was 17.

While most men in the black book were never mentioned by Roberts or anyone else as sex partners of underage girls, they show how deep inside New York’s high society Epstein reached and how powerful men were readily available for Epstein when he was convicted of a lesser charge.

If you believe the little 92-page book, Epstein has access to former NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, movie and TV star Alec Baldwin, rocker Courtney Love, businessman Peter Soros (nephew of Democratic Party supporter George Soros), Italian playboy Flavio Briatore, former New Mexico governors Bruce King and Bill Richardson

Hard to tell who is clients and who is friends of him.

Jeffrey Epstein, billionaire friend of many very powerful people in America (on both sides of the political spectrum) has been arrested and charged. He has been accused of leading a sex trafficking ring for many of those friends.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jeffrey Epstein, a billionaire New York financier long accused of molesting dozens of young girls, has been charged by federal prosecutors with sex trafficking, a person with knowledge of the case said on Saturday night.

Mr. Epstein had avoided federal criminal charges in 2007 and 2008 in a widely criticized plea deal after he was accused of paying dozens of underage girls for sexual massages in Florida.

He pleaded guilty to lesser state charges of soliciting prostitution, served 13 months in a county lockup and registered as a sex offender. His extraordinary jail arrangement allowed him to get out of the Palm Beach County Stockade six days a week to work out of his office.

The first of many judicious barge-polings, I suspect.

As evidence of just how powerful the people Epstein hung out with, Bill Clinton is the first politician to issue a statement on his association with Epstein.

Would that be the same staff and security detail who were (allegedly) totally unaware of Clinton’s (alleged) numerous (alleged) other (alleged) “indiscretions” (alleged)? You know, Special Agent Magoo and PA Stevie Wonder?

Trump also says Jeffrey who?

President Trump became the second US leader in 24 hours to distance himself from a long association with a disgraced millionaire financier charged with child sex crimes.

Mr Trump insisted that he had not spoken to Jeffrey Epstein, 66, for more than a decade and that he was “not a fan” despite once praising the hedge fund manager as “a terrific guy” who enjoyed the company of females “on the younger side”.

Epstein appeared in court in New York on Monday charged with trafficking girls as young as 14 more than a decade ago and running a “vast network of under-age victims”. Epstein, who denies the charges, had negotiated a plea deal on similar accusations in a separate case in Florida in 2008.

This will be embarrassing for the royals.

What is in the secret Prince Andrew ‘sex slave’ files?

Now, about 2,000 files from a 2015 defamation case involving Virginia Roberts, an alleged trafficking victim, are due to be released. Some are said to contain information regarding Roberts’ claim that as a teenager, she was forced by Epstein to have sex with Prince Andrew, the Daily Expressreports. The Duke of York strongly denies the allegations.

Roberts, now 35, says that she was first coerced into sexual slavery in 1998, when she was a 15-year-old working as a changing room assistant at Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago beach club in Florida, reports Business Insider.

She has claimed in court documents that she was “procured for sexual activities” by Ghislaine Maxwell, a personal aide of Epstein and friend of Prince Andrew. Maxwell also denies the claims.

Roberts says Epstein used her as a “sex slave” and forced her to sleep with his prominent associates, including the Prince. The royal was pictured with his arm around the then-17-year-old’s waist at Maxwell’s London home in 2001.

Epstein and Roberts are believed to have settled a civil lawsuit out of court in 2009 but six years later, she attempted to join a lawsuit launched by other alleged victims trying to reopen the Epstein case. However, the judge ruled that too much time had passed since her original suit and threw out her allegations against Andrew because they were “immaterial and impertinent to the central claim”.

Maxwell then gave an interview during which she called Roberts a “liar”. In response, Roberts sued her for defamation in the US, with that case also settled.

“Most of the court documents remained under seal following legal representations from Maxwell, who is a daughter of the late disgraced media tycoon Robert Maxwell,” reports The Times.

But in the latest ruling, Jose Cabranes, a US appeals judge, said that the public’s right to know the content of the documents containing the allegedly revealing information “outweighed the privacy rights of people who wanted to keep them secret”.

Jeffrey Epstein.

Well, I for one am shocked that a man likely to implicate a large number of rich and famous people as members of his VIP paedophile ring, a man found injured in a foetal position a fortnight ago following a likely suicide attempt, let it be remembered, has somehow outfoxed his guards and managed to kill himself in prison.

“While on suicide watch and handcuffed behind his back, he shot himself twice in the forehead with a suppressed .380 which has not been found.

Verdict: Natural causes.”

;)

Edit: l emphasise that this is a cynical, humorous observation, and that no official cause of death has been established!

Cause of death: hanging.

Rumours of a 'camera malfunction'.

Meanwhile, MSNBC host says:

It's odd - one of the first things I though of when I heard the news was the assassination of Boris Nemtsov. I am obviously not trying to draw any sort of parallel between the character of the two dead men, more that it was a brazen message from the Russian state that it considers itself untouchable and above the law, and that the rest of us should know our place: heads down and mouths shut, or they would be shut for us.

At the very least, this is piss poor detainee welfare.
He must have been on suicide watch.
And he was still able to manage it.
They are either entirely incompetent or complicit.
Either way, there should be a lot of swords in danger from heavy falling objects.
I wonder what will happen to the investigation now? Hadn't heard anything about Epstein turning.

If he wasn't executed, which is a possibility since he basically had everything and lost everything and that can affect a mind even as twisted as his, then I can imagine nobody lifting a finger to stop him ending it all if that's what he really wanted to do.

The news accounts are confusing. He was previously put on suicide watch after hurting himself. Some news channels are reporting he'd recently been taken off suicide watch.

This is far from over if the legal commentators are even half right. Much evidence gathered.
Given the recent interference and obstruction stuff, authorities will probably be on edge for calls from certain quarters.
