I you've had a bit of stress lately like me (and probably most of us), please leave something chilled out in this thread. I find this video relaxing for starters .. it's 'safe space' time ..

All I could think of was Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" and how stressful that movie was!

This never fails to put Miss Yith to sleep if left on repeat.
She seldom makes it to the end of the second run through:

Music with any plink sounds wakes me straight up. It's because of stimulating the brain or summat.

Anyway, my way of relaxing/falling asleep is to listen to a male voice droning on.
Any subject will do. The audiobook of Andrew Marr's A History of Modern Britain always does the trick. ;)

Jeez, there have to be more mellifluous male voices than that to send you off to slumber... Martin Jarvis records about ten audiobooks in a day, try one of his.

I remember watching this performed by Orbital at Glastonbury in '94 (I think it was '94) .. the crowd did a big cheer up cheer .. my tape cassette of this track had a picture of God sitting on a throne wearing a virtual reality helmet ..

Stuff in reverse .. I find this strangely relaxing, I wouldn't eat his omelette though.

I had a near perfect Saturday morning, including the most relaxing bath with sandalwood bubbles, and Radio 3 playing Mozart. I felt as refined as possible and half expected to step out and find my house had grown a breakfast room, sunlit and twinkling. I could hear Archie playing footie with his bottle top but translated that into Lord Byron (okay, not a relaxing man but hey, he's one of my dream men!) playing tiddly-winks.

You maybe/probably don't share my fantasies of Lord Byron and sunlit breakfast rooms, but here's some gentle, elegantly light Mozart...relax...
