Monster? Ghost? Some crawling, aggressive thing that can slip under doors.
Good to see someone else likes Bedtime:cskull: Stories lordmongrove. I watched this last night. I have a feeling that if this had happened in the time of King Arthur, his knights would have gone questing to slay the night beast in question like Beowulf did to Grendel. These days we probably pass the matter off as night terrors.Monster? Ghost? Some crawling, aggressive thing that can slip under doors.
Thanks for posting this! It's a great creepy narration, and nice illustrations, too!Monster? Ghost? Some crawling, aggressive thing that can slip under doors.

They are based on real stories for the most part. Obviously some of the info is equivocal as with all supernatural evidence, but the gist is, the events happened in some fashion.Very good indeed. These bedtime stories. Are they based upon supposed cases or they simply fiction??

While debunked that was still a strange series of events. The Ventem Masks, yes? This episode, the Thing in the Charterhouse, is more of a personal account. I don't recall this story showing up in news feed for example. Some are ones that listeners send it. Some of the past stories have been debunked such as the human UFO mutilation in South America.
... The Ventem Masks, yes? ...
Yes it was. Simple death and animal scavenging.I don't know for sure, but I suspect the reference was to the Guarapiranga case:

Sound like something M R James would write.I'm usually fairly immune to creepy stories, but by god did this one get me.
The bit where it was creeping under the door. It's making my hair stand up now!
Brrrrrrr......
Such as "The Treasure of Abbot Thomas"?Sound like something M R James would write.

Cryptonaut Podcast looks at the Charterhouse guest case.
To add to the Charterhouse mix, I remember a local person telling me he'd seen an ABC not far away as well. The Mendips are a weird place. Anywhere with all that undergroundness goes high on the weirdness scale for me.
I'd like to spend the night there.
