I think you have definitely made the correct decision.
Funeral was today. Wee yin sailed through it.

We seriously might have kept her at home, if it wasn't for the astute and experienced guidance offered here.

Was able to speak with her afterwards, via video messaging.

I took some sceen snapshots and one of them confirmed suspicions she is a latent witch.

It's probably a placeholder for something illegal that those 'in the know' are bidding for.
There’s quite a thriving market for the sale of so called rare 50p pieces going for crazy money on eBay. I’m convinced this is some form of money laundering. These are prices that these items sold for. Genuine vendors then see these and then think their coins have this value. The genuine rarest non misprint special edition 50p coin is the Kew pagoda which in mint, uncirculated condition will go for between £50-100.

Thought I might stop by for a nightcap...

Promised I would be taking care of a fellow Fortean and their wish is a, 'large Talisker, 10 year old'.

Same for myself then please, good innkeeper.

The weather, eh...

Can't remember such an incessant spell of ferocious winds & rain/sleet.

Never mind though, noticed emerging daffodils!

Was thinking about some of my favourite sci-fi from the past. Decided that must include:

Tomorrow People
Doomwatch
Tripods
Time Tunnel

Wondered if this counts as sci-fi?

Decided that Doomwatch was the most compelling.

So... whilst enjoying my Talisker, going to have a browse - see if episodes are available online.

Anyone else recall those series?

When Escet worked at CERN anyone visiting him would be invited to pose like The Champions. The fountain can be seen from the plane on approach, awesome.

Tour boats pass it and passengers are sometimes drenched if it's not turned off quickly enough. Great fun to watch!

Was thinking about a drink to invigorate and released I used to make one.

Not had this tipple for many a year now, kinda just forgotten...

Ingredients:
Vodka, tomato juice and Worcestershire sauce.

Recipe:
Pour generous amount of vodka, add desired quantity of tomato juice, then a few drops of Worcestershire sauce.

Crucial Instructions:
1. Do not stir.
2. Consume contents in one swallow.

First sensation should be the lovely tomato juice, then a kick from our Worcester sauce at the bottom and finally, a notable hit from the vodka.

Wondered if there might be any other suggestions for a perk-me-up imbibment?

Non alcoholic.

My gaming group (RPG and Poker) used to swear by coffocoa. It was a very string hot chocolate with 3 espresso type shots in the mug.

The chocolate kind of hid the coffee taste so that people drank it and felt unexpectedly revived at :4.15!

I put strong fresh brewed coffee in a flask with two squares of Lindt 90% chocolate and a shot of whisky, to keep me warm in the winter...

Evenin' fellow Forteans...

Thought I might stop by for a nightcap or three...

At last we are shot of February and into, hopefully, signs of Spring.

The older you become, the more February seems to drag on forever. Especially this year, when the weather has been relentlessly inclement.

I recently mentioned that my daughter-in-law had passed away - after a lengthy illness.

Picked up my 8-y-o granddaughter from school earlier and 'She Who Must Be Obeyed' came out of class with her, 'Fizz Face' on - not a happy wee bunny.

One duly enquired, 'Right, who rattled your cage today, then'?

'KYLE!!!!'.

'He's been annoying me all day and just being a right ar*ehole...'.

Ignoring that simile, I asked...

'So... did you tell him to stop it'?

A brief pause and then my little witch explains...

'I told him if he didn't, my mum would come and haunt him...'.

After some careful thought, I queried...

'What did he say to that, then...'?

'He didn't say anything... He just looked very, very scared and I thought he was going to cry...'.

Jukebox... fancy sticking something on...?
