The Vallow / Daybell Case: MIA Kids / Fugitive Mom / Apocalyptic Cult

Lori is now in Arizona to answer the charges of conspiracy to murder Charles Vallow. I expect she will plead not guilty for all the non-reasons she gave at her sentencing hearing earlier this year. Some think she might just plead guilty to save herself the process when it appears to be a foregone conclusion. I doubt it given the she is an angry attention whore who wouldn’t spare anyone the stress of having to go through her monstrous activities day after day after day yet again. We shall see.

It is as plain as the nose on ur face she was part of the conspiracy to kill all four, yet no evidence has come to light outside of circumstantial testimony. I’m not confident she will get what she deserves. I’m glad I’m not on that jury.

Opening args done. Chad's defence, as expected, is largely about her power over him. Chad is apparently a poor little 12yo child who got pussy-dazzled, rendering him incapable of any moral choice. No surprises at all here. I wonder if Lori has woken up to how fucked she is yet.


Ye gods, it still staggers how very very way out in fantasy cloud cuckoo country these people are/were. And how so many more of them are still slithering about in plain sight.
 
I adore Larry Woodcock. He is JJ Vallow’s Grandfather. JJ was the little boy who was slaughtered by his surrogate mother and her cronies in 2019. Larry here gets very emotional about his response to current events. He is at stages funny, sad, angry and compassionate, but always entirely sincere, which is what none of those people in what he calls the circle of jerks could ever be in their pathetic little lives.

This gives a good insight into what the closest family of these victims have been through. Fair warning - it’s pretty raw.

For Kay and Larry. Tributes from people who care. Who would have given those two beautiful children any home needed. If only that had have been possible, were it not for the selfish greed of their caregiver.

 
Prosecution rests tomorrow. They've done very well to demonstrate Chad's primacy in the planning of each crime, and virtual certainty in regard to conspiracy to commit the murders. Defense will call three of Chad's adult children next week. Should be interesting.
 
Wow big developments today in rebuttals. Defense rested with most of his case dependent on Chad's two eldest basically victim-shaming their Mom, especially the daughter who has clearly been coached and co-opted to stand for Dad. I think they'll both be recalled next week to explain their bs.

Some flaky DNA testimony added nothing relevant.

Then today, Prosecution called rebuttal witnesses who both contradicted the kids' testimonies, so suddenly the floor has dropped from under Defense, and hooboy they were pissed. The kids could even go down for perjury. Chad's still doing damage to those closest to him. What a guy. What a model citizen.

A new rebuttal witness for the prosecution testified that Chad Daybell’s son Garth had told him how he found his dead mother Tammy Daybell, which is different from what Garth told the court at his father’s triple murder trial earlier this week.

Shortly after the defense rested on Thursday, Jason Abegelen, who worked with Garth at a haunted house, recalled that Garth told him how he found his mother dead in the bedroom and that his father was not there.

But Garth had testified that in the early morning hours of October 19, 2019, his father woke him up to help after finding the mother-of-five dead and halfway off the bed on the floor, tangled up in sheets.

Daybell, 55, is on trial for the death of Tammy, and the murders of Lori Vallow’s two children, Tylee Ryan, 16, and JJ Vallow, seven. Two weeks after Tammy’s death, Daybell and Vallow married on a beach in Hawaii.

It was only after the children were reported missing – and authorities began delving into the couple’s bizarre cult beliefs – that questions were asked about Tammy’s death and her body was exhumed for an autopsy. It was determined she had died of asphyxia and Daybell was charged with her murder, as well as the murders of Vallow’s children, who were found buried in Daybell’s Idaho backyard nine months after they went missing.

Witnesses all done. Closing args tomoz. Then jury deliberates. If he’s guilty on all counts, as Lori was, they’ll go straight to jury deliberation on death, then penalty phase. Might all be done and dusted by the weekend.
 
Death
I expect many years of appeal. Defense was much stronger for this convict. Process was thorough and professional. He has not a hope.

The convict's wife's defense was barely there, but I think they would have done more if their client had allowed them to do their job. She would have been a nightmare to represent. Deluded. Defiant. God-complex. High-level narcissism. Just an all round pig. Neither of them were worth the time, effort and heartache their pathetic existence imposed on those they impacted. Note there was NO family attending court in support of either of these animals. That is the real damnation they deserved. Abandoned completely in the end, as they should be. Say hi to Manson for us, ya shits.

A jury in Idaho has unanimously agreed that “doomsday prophet’ Chad Daybell deserves the death penalty for the murders of his wife and his girlfriend’s two youngest children.

The 55-year-old showed no emotion as he was told he would face the death penalty for the murders of Tammy Daybell, 16-year-old Tylee Ryan and seven-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow.

The mother of the children is Lori Vallow Daybell, whom Chad Daybell married shortly after his wife’s death.
Vallow Daybell was convicted last year of the three murders and is now awaiting trial in Arizona, charged with murder in connection with the fatal shooting of her fourth husband, Charles Vallow, who was JJ’s father.
