The "White Thing"

I will post a very old article when I can find it again! What happened? In the 19th century a horse drawn wagon was approaching a bridge, and a white thing dragged itself across the road on the far side of the bridge, causing the horses to fright badly.. As the bridge was approached, it began to shudder and quake violently (like poltergeist activity), but upon crossing the bridge, the phenomenon went INTO the wagon, causing it to violently shudder and shake periodically, each time scaring the horses out of their wits.. It reminded me of the "Object dressed in White" device that terrorized the homeowners in that other old article.. When I find it again I will post it!!
