Threadfinder General: Lost Threads Located

I've just experienced FTMB website unobtainable, for 15 or 30 minutes.
Did anyone else get this? I couldn't post, or add smilies, etc.

I tried a restart, and obviously I'm back now. Did anyone else get this?

Has anyone seen the poo news thread? Or shit news? Or whatever it's called.

Didn't we have a general doppelganger thread? Search turned up a few individual ones, but I couldn't find a catch-all. I wanted to post a neat (if little-used) reddit link I found.

Part of the problem, IIRC, is that different spellings have been used; the are doppelgangers and dopplegangers on the MB (and maybe some with foreign punctuation marks!) We need an FTMB-approved dictionary!
 
Peter Ackroyd.... and a documentary tv programme... about ghosts or spiritualism or... and he reveals at the end that the society who has been running the sceances for him was made up for the programme?
 
In which a poster discussed, with IIRC great candour and apparent honesty, the personality changes he (I think he was a he) underwent following a serious head injury inflicted during either an assault or accident. Any bells rung?

Didn't we have a thread where people posted new words that have been included in dictionaries?

The Telegraph has an interesting piece about new words for 2016 and I don't know where to put it.
