Time Machine in London Cemetery

"a storytelling event in the cemetery on 20 December to raise enough money to buy a new key."

The City wasn't wetting itself to invest then? :p

I love the confident rangey nonsense of this article. 'The Independant' now takes on a totally-different feel for me.

So if it's not a time-machine, it may just be a basic matter transporter.....self-powered via a vortex. What on earth???

I visited today. Unfortunately there was no time travelling done. But my friend noticed something odd. It looks like the key is in the lock on the inside. Either that or it’s a very strange lock.

I've seen those sorts of locks before. The key is like a hollow tube which centers itself on the spindle in the middle of the keyhole. There is no keyhole on the other side so it can only be locked (or opened) from the outside. Imagine a larger version of a handcuff key.
