Titan (Saturn's Largest Moon)

What I always found amazing was that we were seeing pictures from the surface of a world that we cannot see with the naked eye. Well OK technically especially if you block the light from Saturn and have good eyesight but until then there was only Mars, Moon, Venus which are all bright. Even now it's only them and tiny asteroids etc.

New paper on why life on Titan is unlikely.

The phrase: "One elephant per year of glycine into an ocean 12 times the volume of Earth's oceans is not sufficient to sustain life," would fit happily into a number of other threads here - but it is a serious paper on Titan.
