Vintage footage of the Tom Slick yeti expeditions
Marginally, good choice of word.Listened to the Dark Histories podcast last night - very interesting, especially the shenanigans about the mummified hand.
Ben, although generally sceptical, does conclude that the existence of the Yeti is marginally more plausible than the American Bigfoot, which seemed to have been invented to cash in on the Yeti-mania of the late 50s.

I can see the Tom Slick story being made into a movie, rather like Gef the talking mongoose.Really interesting.
Tom Slick and the Search for the Yeti by Loren Coleman is well worth reading.

The whole hand-smuggling thing, featuring actor James Stewart, the egotistical arguments between the cryptozoologists, the (possibly) hoaxed footprints and, of course, Slick's somewhat mysterious death in a mid-air explosion, would make an interesting movie!
Simon Pegg as Tom Slick?
