HenryFort- for what it's worth I thought this was In England too- the use of the word "Granny" and refernces to Manchester University seem English and the Van looks to be one othe Volkswagon estate type vehicles- AKA wheelie wardrobes.


No I don't think this is a ghost, lots of simulacra and a guy in the wrong place, nice picture of Grannie though

When did this photo start doing the rounds and when is it supposed to be from?

I only ask because it would be interesting to find out when the "walker" she is using became commplace. I remember seeing them in the early '90's but only a few. They became more widespread later on but maybe they were around in the '70's and '80's too.

The photo seems a typical, faded/washed out, early '80's photograph. If the walker wasn't issued until the '90's we can surmise that the photo has been altered or manipulated to appear older/fuzzier/less distinct.
