I loved The Champions when I was a kid. I think it used to run on a Sunday afternoon/evening but I would only have been five years old when it was first released so I think I must have seen it and enjoyed it on repeat. The Champions is coming to Talking Pictures. One of my favourite shows when I was a puppy

It's also available on Prime. Quite an entertaining programme.
When my son lived near Geneva we'd visit the Lake and sit around in the sun eating and boozing, as everyone does there.I loved The Champions when I was a kid. I see 2 of the champions are still alive, William Gaunt (possibly best remembered for No Place Like Home) and Stuart Damon who went on to star in an American Hospital-based series for 30 years. Unfortunately we lost Alexandra Bastedo back in 2014.

media-whore
Does he need cash
Nothing wrong with William Shatner taking on the role? After all - you could say that he's boldly going where no man has been before.' Good-on-'im!The usual suspects ... with a crowd-pleaser in Shatner; the vague link between his fictional role with aliens to real life is blatant bait, like daytime tv shows mentioning UFOS, they have to play a close clone of the X-Files theme.
Not impressed, not inspired to watch. I've not a closed mind but when it comes to media-whore programmes, I hold their 'research' in scant regard.
I'm actually surprised that the Shat is involved. He makes a bit on residuals, royalties from his books, and a bucket-load on his horse breeding. Does he need cash to sink this low?
