U.S. Military: UFO Investigations, Knowledge & Disclosure

U.S. House bill H.R. 4350

Senate bill S. 2610

What does this mean ?

It means the House and the Senate are battling each other on what to do with UFO reports and information.

The Senate just wants to file it away and forget.

The House wants a dedicated physical office established and not to forget.

Ufologist have had a spiritual boost as they think Elon Musk will lead the charge to disclosure.

Elon Musk has always been the rebel and has repeatedly said UFOS or UAPs are very real and they are watching us.

He has also said we a living in an artificial hologram game universe. He must therefore be correct about that too.

Elon has said a lot of crazy stuff, mixed in with the stuff that makes sense.

Thank you so much - I have read that in entirety!.

Takes me right back to my formative days and innocent fascination.

As a result of following up something therein, I have come across this, available to download as a .pdf document.

Courtesy of the U.S. 'Defense Technical Information Center' and presumably a well known publication, just that I have never heard of it before and wondered if perhaps others likewise - all 417 pages!

One actually quite famous work that I couldn't afford when it first came out, so at last 50 years later I can read it. Mind you, it's a bit out of date...

Our brain takes all the information from our body’s senses and constructs what we believe is true.

If we see UAPs or other paranormal, are our brains being screwed with by an outside force like a E.T.

Are we living in the Matrix ?

Is the big secret with UFOs is they are controlling our brains and our world ?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Elon Musk is a stoner, he says what ever weird shit is going on in his drug addled head. Here are a couple of examples.

"When Elon Musk appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, he couldn't respond when asked if he was a superhero or a supervillain.

Answering that he'd like to nuke Mars to make it warmer and more hospitable to humans wasn't a great way to convince Colbert that he was on the superhero side."

Nuking Mars is not the most efficient way to warm that planet, by the way. Musk would be better advised to use Robert Zubrin's scheme, which uses the same amount of nuclear energy to nudge asteroids into impacting the Martian surface. This way you get ten times as much explosive energy for the same effort.

Note that making huge explosions on the surface of Mars is a necessary part of the terraformation process; it does not mean that Musk is crazy. But using nuclear weapons directly on the surface would not be sufficient - you need bigger detonations than that, which can only be acheived via asteroid impacts.

Not only that, but the use of nukes would leave a high level of radiation for years afterwards.
OK, you could concrete over some of it, like they did in Japan - but that may not be easy to do on Mars.

Is not genius and crazy as a fruitcake the same thing ?
There are seemingly thousands of people in Florida proving that one can be crazy as a fruit cake as well as the very opposite of a genius.

MUFON over the years almost “ crashed “ with claims that members were extremist and into pornography.

MUFON now claims all is well and members are coming back.

The largest chapter is the Las Vegas group that has really helped the situation.

A past president of the Las Vegas chapter is Sue Countiss who claims that while she worked for the Energy Department, an UFO came real close to her one day, and then her husband started to have his own sightings of UFOs.

Sue also claimed she was followed by men in black, but she says they have been updated to blue pin striped suits.

Sue says UFOs are real.

For years the debate on the whether the McMinnville, Oregon Trent UFO pictures were real and continues to this day.

These are considered the most famous UFO pictures in the world.

This weekend is the 21st annual UFO McMinnville festival which hundreds of people will come to celebrate this UFO event.

This festival draws almost as many people as the the Roswell Festival.

Arizona Rep. Ruben Gallegos claims the U.S. government is still in 1950 when it comes to anything to do with UFOs.

Ruben claims security departments in the government still make sure that UFO information gets quietly buried.

Nothing has changed which means the culture of the government has not changed.

As many sports and entertainment people have reported their UFO stories, Disney child star and now singer Demi Lovato reports that she had a life changing UFO experience in Joshua Tree National Park, California last October.

Demi claims that a beautiful blue sphere came 50 feet in front of her 10 feet off the ground before moving on.

Demi claims she felt no fear, but just good feelings.

About 1996 I saw at night a brilliant power blue diamond UFO, which was one of most beautiful things I ever saw.

The only thing that comes close in brilliance was last year’s rising full Halloween moon over all the trick or treat kids walking up and down the street.

A fact that I just remembered from my 1996 powder blue diamond shaped UFO is a police car stopped on the street and looked at this UFO in the night sky for a few minutes.

The police in the car obviously never said anything to what they had seen.

This is just more proof that what was in the sky was a real bizarre object.

I guess no circus with monkeys was parked next to the prison as they were in Hopkinsville, KY, with horned Owls flying around.
Just an old ufologist still searching for enlightenment. :)

Às we well know, a whole lotta smoke and mirrors out there and been that way a while...

There are the usual UFO hot spots like Arizona, but a recent statistic has come to light.

In Myrtle Beach, South, Carolina 254 people per 100,000 people report UFOs.

The county is called Horry, and it seems the residents are UFO crazy.

The great falsehoods of government !

At age 15 in 1996, John Greenewald, Jr. ( book author and Black Vault website ) has pursuited UFOs.

Over the years John has filed thousands of Freedom of Information Act requests about UFOs.

John claims the FOIAs on Malmstrom AFB, Montana and Exmouth, Australia Naval Communications Station North West Cape have all come back saying papers destroyed, and does not exist, rather than classified to public.

A UFO plagued the Communication Station in Australia and also a UFO kept coming back several times over Malmstrom.

John is puzzled how the government can just destroy information without consequences ?

Oh ! the untruths !

Standard response from govt. agencies: "Sorry, all the files have been destroyed." The CIA used it to great effect when MKUltra came under scrutiny, and everyone believed it! In fact, they tried the same gambit regarding the Ultra programme, a top UK Intelligence man wrote a book in which the question of the Special Liaison Units that the British used to disseminate Ultra info to the front line units came up. But why was it that historians weren't able to study the records of this? Sadly, both public records offices that held the files were short of space and independently decided to destroy them! I don't know how many people swallowed this nonsense (cursing the idiocy of officialdom) but if Cave Brown hadn't met a US intel man who spilled the beans [and was that maybe a planned disclosure?] we would probably know nothing about it even now.

And sometimes the reason that the files were destroyed is that there really is nothing interesting to record. The Malmstrom events were mostly hot-air and second-hand recollections. Here's an article by someone who was stationed at Malmstrom, Tim Hebert.
http://timhebert2.blogspot.com/
As I had stated in my very first article, UFOs over Echo were never mentioned during my four years on station at Malmstrom nor while completing Initial Qualification Training at Vandenberg AFB, CA. We talked about the legend of A-05 being built over an old Native American burial site and it's apparitions that appeared to security camper teams, but nothing about UFOs, and this includes the 1978 UFO case around Kilo.
All of the verifiable facts support a weapon system anomaly that was only magnified due to the number of sorties that had dropped off alert, thus the UFO theory is indefensible and becomes only what it's proponents wish it to be. The only support for UFO involvement is the rumors and these rumors could have came from many different sources for various agendas or purposes. Numerous people heard something, yet they themselves saw nothing. The actual eye witnesses may never have existed in the first place, yet they become embedded in the collective imagination.
And from Eric Carlson, a primary witness;
https://www.topsecretwriters.com/2020/11/the-malmstrom-afb-missile-ufo-incident-march-1967/
Ryan: The stories claim that when Figel called the security guard on the surface, the guard reported that no maintenance had taken place and that a UFO had been hovering over the silo. Do you recall Figel making this phone call, and did he tell you that anyone on the other end of the line mentioned anything about a UFO?
Eric: There was no call, at any time, telling us about any UFOs.

I'm assuming "Malmstrom AFB" refers to the 1967 Malmstrom AFB incidents promoted by Robert Salas - I thought these were explained about 10 years back. There was an incident where some missiles went offline, but no evidence that it was UFO-related.

The UFO incidents at Malmstrom (and Loring and Wurtsmith) in 1975 on the other hand always felt to me like a garbled report of some sort of internal security exercise involving helicopters.

Having had the chance to look at @eburacum 's links above I think it's coming back to me now.

Salas promoted a version of events based on missiles going offline at the time of a UFO sighting. It was claimed that the flight commander, Col. Frederick Meiwald had provided evidence to back this up but while Meiwald did vaguely recall an incident where two security guards had been frightened by a UFO of some sort, it didn't seem to be the same incident as the missiles going offline, nor was this the same flight Salas had served in. It may be the case that several unconnected anecdotes, rumours etc have been conflated - as often happens.

If you want to look at a (relatively) good incident involving the military that isn't based on half baked rumours, then the Pinecastle radar-visual case from May 1978 is an interesting one - Hendry did some work on it.

"We saw three very blurry lights: red, white, and green. We watched them for about 30 minutes. We couldn't see how fast they were traveling. We were holding the binoculars, and the lights appeared to be bouncing."
If someone watches something in the night sky through binoculars for 30 minutes, which remains in approximately the same location throughout, it is almost certainly a celestial object. Any 'bouncing' is caused by the movements of the person holding the binoculars, involuntary movements, breathing, even their heartbeat. I don't know what they were looking at, but Capella was low on the horizon during this period, followed by Castor and Pollux. Mars and Saturn were up there too, but probably too close to the Moon to be easily visible. I have no explanation for the radar traces, which seem to have been a bit unreliable.

Thanks, that is a very convincing case.

I think astronomical objects, plus an aircraft and faulty radar, have been suggested as a solution (by Klass IIRC) but it remains a bit 'messy'.

I suppose the possible key element to me is that the military witnesses had been to an extent 'primed' by two calls from civilians, which would have raised their expectations of seeing something. Quotes also suggested they may have got fairly excited / disturbed which would increase the chances of misperception.

An interesting case nevertheless.
