'Underwater Pyramid' Discovered Off The French Coast

The article states it is 3-sided ( "Elle possède trois faces lisses")

This shape doesn't exclude the possibility the object was a WW2-era beach defense obstacle.

There was a mass-produced and commonly deployed variation on the Czech Hedgehog consisting of steel beams welded into a tetrahedral structure which was often coated in concrete. The tetrahedral shape provides 3 faces intersecting at each vertex.

This obstacle type was called a 'Tetrahydra'.

Here's a photo of 3 such Tetrahydras removed from the D-Day beaches.

As was the case for other defensive obstacles, there were variants.
