This is not "weird" but really interesting. Numbers are my addition:

Can we just check and see what percent of people are equally aroused by men vs. women? Sex researchers have done something kind of like this by showing people porn and monitoring genital arousal. If I understand right, the closest thing to a consensus is that (1) self-identified straight men and (2) gay men are aroused by (1) women and (2) men respectively, (3) self-identified bisexual men are (3) probably aroused by both men and women although there are big fights about this, and approximately (4) all women are (4) aroused by both sexes except maybe some lesbians.

1,2, and don't surprise me. 3 doesn't surprise me very much. 4 does surprise me, but probably I should have expected that.

I think Escargot is referring to Boy George's famous reply when some nosey journalist in the 80's asked him about his sexuality and he replied with "I'd rather have a cup of tea.".

It begins by citing a 27-year-old psychology paper called “Gender and attractiveness biases in hiring decisions: Are more experienced managers less biased?”
It avers that “studies have yet to investigate aesthetic preferences as regards the scrotum”.

It states several hypotheses and remarks about one of them: “Our sixth hypothesis suggested that men would rate their scrotum significantly more positively than women their vulva… However, we were unable to identify any significant difference in ratings by gender.” It presents four data tables, the last of which bears this label: “Descriptive statistics for evaluation of each scrotum and each variation, by gender, in order of perceived attractiveness of the scrotums.”
It includes exactly 36 close-up, black-and-white photographs of scrotums. It also includes this plaintive, 18-word conclusion: “Ultimately, it was barely possible to identify a ‘beautiful’ scrotum; we must instead speak of the least ugly.”

The latest chef I've started working for has nicked one of my jokes. A customer complained there was a hair in her boyfriend's food while handing me the bill at the exact same time. Scammer O'clock. I fake apologised but held back on telling her that my chef's got a shaven head and no beard .. so we're all standing around in the kitchen and I joked something like "It's not a pube. We'd know. It would be curly." .... she received no money off. Someone else tried the same scam a few days later and he was rocking the pubic hair joke back at me. They received no money off either. :)
