To get the evening underway, a couple of glasses of Glenlivet 15 Year Old. To eat, butter chicken, rice, pappadums (or however you choose to spell it), eggplant pickle, mango chutney and half a Toblerone with a coffee to finish.

We're off to see Escet later and are expecting him to feed us so we're holding out on breakfast. Grrr.

Still on my vegan M&S mission. Jackfruit pizza. Yummy. They really are hitting it out of the ballpark. There is an M&S food hall near my work so some more cauliflower popcorn and a jackfruit pizza is a defo foe Friday night din-dins

Last night on way home we dropped in at a filling station with a Co-Op on site. They were selling off biggish bottles of Czech Budweiser, about 8 bottles, which I snapped up to make shandy with. It goes well with that sour cloudy supermarket lemonade. Having one now, lovely.

Do you mean Budvar?! It is a Crime Against Humanity to dilute it with lemonade!

French toast with Greek yoghurt, mango, banana, raspberries, strawberries and passionfruit washed down with a couple of coffees. It was our wedding anniversary 3 days ago and both my wife and I forgot... must be getting old. It's our day off today, so it's breakfast in bed for her. A small token of my love and appreciation.

Escargot,

..'Oooh look, cheap bear!' ..

I take it that bear is usually expensive in your area.

Found a melon in the fridge which I cut up and forgot a day or two ago. How considerate of me.

Made two big smoothies with it and a tub of Tesco 'Berry Medley' (grapes, strawberries, I dunno what else) and a pack of blueberries. Drank the lot.

I swear I could live on fruit smoothies. Adding a banana makes them a bit more substantial for breakfast. One of those will keep me going all morning.
You can also stick protein powder in them and I have some ready to try. Maybe tomorrow.

Sourdough, two slices, one with a Danish salted butter, the other with a super crunchy peanut butter. I could be a glutton and go for more, but I have to leave in a moment.
