Should be avoiding this thread as I've been craving Chinese food and now I'm hungry .... luckily I have some chicken pakoras and a packet of mini cheddars to keep me going - that's a balanced supper.

Oh no. Do you have aches? I'll have a tab or two for you, Coal. Get better.

I'm eating my words and drinking the same.

For the first time ever... I made onion gravy! It was NICE! Obviously I had a meal with it, but I'm glad there's something else I can "cook".

A tin of mackerel in tomato sauce with two slices of bread. Very unsatisfactory.

Glad I have a coffee to wash it down with.

I had a Quorn steak slice, the best ever, they are delicious, I am addicted to them, and a bakewell tart and a cuppa decaf

What do you do with it - fry it? My admittedly limited experience with Quorn is that it has very little flavour unless you put some into it..

Enjoying this jolly Lidl CdR Villages, 2016.

Being sold-off for £3.99.

Game casserole in the oven. I have added a Scotch Bonnet, as a tribute to Burns. Having licked the knife after slicing it, I do not expect blisters!

Some recent Bonnets have been a touch wimpish, tbh. I am not a fan of silly-hot, macho chilis but I do expect a bit of a punch from an SB!

Getting ready to try some Blantons Bourbon.....took me almost a year to wait for a bottle to surface at the local liquor
store.
