Sure. It's always about size with you.
Currently pestering Techy for a refill but he's resisting on the grounds of the horrendous hangover I'd have tomorrow.

My idea is to replicate the delicious taste of the grapefruit-infused gin by eating an actual grapefruit and swigging tonic. Will report back shortly.

Ah grapefruit. Love it. But eating one may kill me.

INT21.
Is that because of a meds conflict? Techy has the same problem so he whoopee more for me sadly can't eat them either.

Today is Soup Day. Yesterday I made some from a load of cut-price pulses.

That's one tub of veg (broccoli, peas, green beans with little pats of mint butter) with two packs of fresh garden peas, one pack of endamame beans and a pack of vegan barbecue pulled, er, summat that's not pork.

Fried all the veg up in the mint butter with an onion for a bit, then added the 'pork' and some stock and stuck it all in the soup maker.

Made a brilliant soup. Had some last night and again today. Wish I could make more, but in the immortal words of Richard Harris, I'll never have that recipe again...

(That's song's weird.

As we followed in the dance
Between the parted pages and were pressed
In love's hot, fevered iron
Like a striped pair of pants

What the actual?)

Well, it's from the first verse of MacArthur Park.

The full first verse is..

Spring was never waiting for us, girl
It ran one step ahead
As we followed in the dance
Between the parted pages and were pressed
In love's hot, fevered iron
Like a striped pair of pants

That's from the official lyrics.

I'll have to listen to the song again and try and work out what is actually said.
The stripped pants bit does seem unlikely.

Donna Summer also sang it.

Yes, the grapefruit ban is down to Isosorbide Mononitrate.

Grapefruit makes it work much quicker than normal and can lead to heart failure.

Well yeah, I know that's the song, I know it well and quoted it, just a bit because of the copyright issue.
The bit about a striped pair of pants is so weird, not least because to Americans pants are trousers but to us Brits they're underwear.

Tried this, a tomato and grapefruit juice alcopop from Japan. I found it to be completely disgusting, because it was sweet and fizzy – not how I like my tomato juice.
