You will all, I am absolutely convinced, be fascinated to know that I don't eat soup. It doesn't agree with me.

Now, my friends, you can all sleep well tonight :)

You're welcome.
All soup?

Makes me feel kind of nauseous and stomach churny...maybe my stomach doesn't like being filled with gloop, preferring harder things. Small pebbles maybe.
You might be an ostrich or emu.

Heard mention of garlic mushrooms which I love.
So I made a big pan of them and ate them with some buttered heavyweight granary bread and a couple of sliced fresh tomatoes.

I had a smoked gammon round left over in the fridge, so I diced it up and cooked it in some BBQ sauce in the oven, and boiled some basmati rice to put it over.
It's only now that I have combined the two that I discover I have cooked way too small an amount of rice, and what I have ended up with resembles bits of meat in a saucy soup with some rice floating about in it.
Never mind, it's tasty enough.

Today we had the kids round for Father’s Day, the grandchildren and the ex-wife. For mains we had a traditional Lasagna, a chicken lasagna and a ricotta and spinach cannelloni for the veggies. Still trying to work out how dad cooks on Father’s Day. Is it not supposed to be the other way round?

:mad:Im a big fan of kenco smooth, but you could try 'Douwe Egberts pure smooth...
As noted, I can't find that locally, however, I am trying:

Didn't like 'Pure Gold' at first - found it too rich.

Then had a quite brilliant moment of absolute genius... why not use less.

A slightly smaller spoonful than I would normally take and now it's becoming quite enjoyable.

What I disliked intensely was the 'stopper' instead of a screwthread lid and had to transfer the contents into another container.

First time I eventually managed to forcibly remove the stopper - which took some effort - coffee came flying out everywhere.

I've been ill for the last two days so I've barely been able to eat anything. No appetite. I'm half way through a packet of cheesy wotsits for breakfast at the moment then back to bed.

The empty jars make good storage containers after use aswell

Me and our downstairs toilet have been tight friends over the last two days.

I had really bad dysentry once in a foreign country. Really bad.

Luckily, my toilet was next to the bathtub. Therefore I could eject downwards as I sat on the toilet and eject at the top end sideways into the bath. Worked a treat :)

I joke, but it was awful. 3 days in that position. Honestly thought it was the end.

Get well matey.

Thanks man. Skargy's just told me to call 111 so I'll be doing that in a moment.
