I think that's cool, but in the same situation, I'd be quite unable to distinguish it from a stoat or a ferret.
Great news! Two good things today. After a barren year a new business opportunity has appeared on the distant horizon, and a chap has turned up who is prepared to help me deal with the worst consequences of my hoarding tendency. I know him from my days being captain of the local darts team - he was working for a neighbour and recognised me.
ITook day off Work for unexpected appointment at the Eye Clinic (although it was exactly a year since an unexpected phone consultation with Ophthalmologist). Eyes loaded with dye (twice), pupils at widest dilation, tests concluded and I was escorted off the premises. Twenty minute stumble to Town in full sun - everything was white - really really white (even through the eyelids). Understand why I warned not to drive for four hours. Had Afternoon Tea for One at Morrisons - three types of quarter-sandwiches, lemon cake, chocolate cake, trifle, scone with jam and cream, two strawberries and a pork pie. With Yorkshire Gold teabag and the Daily Telegraph. Took an hour to finish. Walked back to Surgery where I'd left the bike, sunlight now OK, shadows were in technicolor green. At home now and very very tired.
I was slightly late for my jab. I got to the entry of Bath Racecourse, where the vaccines were being administered, but I then had to wait for... golfers! The drive to the racecourse from the main road crosses a golf course, and I was stopped to let golfers cross. Twice!I had my 2nd Covid jab too. Didn't feel the needle go in!
Coming back, I got hopelessly lost and then the damned satnav told me to turn down a 1-way street the wrong way!
But I made a quick recovery from that, phew.
My satnav map hasn't been updated for years and in that time, the street was changed from a 2-way street to a 1-way. Grrrr.
Time to update, etc.
Mine was in a community centre that shares a driveway with a school (bad idea).I was slightly late for my jab. I got to the entry of Bath Racecourse, where the vaccines was being administered, but I then had to wait for... golfers! The drive to the racecourse from the main road crosses a golf course, and I was stopped to let golfers cross. Twice!
Good luck with that!Seeding a new lawn.
