BTW, another weird thing there, is that after the video ends, it follows on to play YouTube videos I have watched, although not for quite some time.

I've already had Dave Allen, Billy Connolly and this has now appeared...

The video plays without any bother!

I'll admit it was this thread that turned me on to the Star One album... was a bit disappointed on first listen as I'd expected the whole thing to be Blake's 7 themed... it's increasingly been growing on me though and aftera couple of listens I started to suss out that all the songs are themed around a different sci-fi movie/series.

Some are more obvious than others, this one came to me while I was listening to it while doing my ironing this morning.

Very bad pun on High Noon which Outland was based on, and also literal as the story involved a drugs racket on Io.

I was about to suggest guessing the remainder of the tracks, unfortunately some twonk has buggered that up by giving it away on the wiki page!

I love the Blake's 7 track and the rest of the album is pretty good.

This gig is also fun (turn quality up high):

The version of Intergalactic Space Crusaders here is stonking--they clearly enjoy having a laugh with the Blake/Avon personae.

Never understood why this one is unpopular with some Maiden fans--I always thought it was a storming start to a fantastic album.

Verses are good lyrically, too:

Longboats have been sighted the evidence of war has begun
Many Nordic fighting men their swords and shields all gleam in the sun
Call to arms defend yourselves get ready to stand and fight for your lives
Judgment day has come around so be prepared don't run stand your ground.

Set ablaze the campfires alert the other men from inland
Warning must be given there's not enough men here for a stand
The Vikings are too many much too powerful to take on our own
We must have reinforcements we cannot fight this battle alone.

Axes grind and maces clash as wounded fighters fall to the ground
Severed limbs and fatal woundings bloody corpses lay all around
The smell of death and burning flesh the battle weary fight to the end
The Saxons have been overpowered victims of the mighty Norsemen.

They're usually too hipster for me, but this new Vampire Weekend song is truly charming:

Video just in time for Shrove Tuesday, too.
