Indulging in one of the best things about being alone in the house.

Licking the plate after eating dinner NAKED. Why, what did you think I meant?
Fixed that for you.

A mate rang to say she'd been training two new starters at work. Apparently they both know me and sent their regards. Oooh, really?

Turns out, not only do they know me, I got them the jobs! They're ladies I've told over the last few months to ring my boss and get a CV done and pop in to see him, and tell him Scargy sent them. Looks like he's taken them on after my personal recommendation.

How nice! I do hope they stay and have fun.
Good to hear the massage parlour is flourishing.

I spent 20 mins looking at other Fortean Forums- interested to see what happens when Mods don't clamp down on politics, bigotry, bat-shit ravings etc, but not that interesting to read. A few diamond geezers out there though, wonder if they're on our Forum as well ?

I used to frequent the David Icke forums until my password suddenly stopped working. It was as if they'd rumbled me. Dunno what for though, I was TOTALLY respectful.

Anyway I was surprised to notice a post of mine on'ere being quoted there! It was on the Jimmy Savile forum, long before his death, when he was talking on Today about being a Bevin Boy. (Wartime conscripted miner.)

So someone other than me was posting on both, dunno who. Didn't ask around, sleeping dogs, what.

Just got in from visiting the Honda dealer.
Car looks beautiful. Costing an arm and a leg.

Drooling over Pyrex on Amazon.

I LOVE Pyrex. I normally buy it from car boot sales because of the high attrition rate; no point spending £20 on something that'll last three months when I can pay a fiver for a year's worth. Mismatched lids don't bother me, I'm resigned to it all getting smashed anyway.

Dunno why I mainly bounce Pyrex and not the other kitchenware but that's sadly how it is. Gives me an excuse to buy more though so hey, it's not all bad!

We're currently running out of oven-to-table casserole dishes so might be forced to invest in the proper shop-bought dear stuff.

*looking again at Amazon* Good LORD, do they think we're MILLIONAIRES?

Watching the classic 1965 movie Crack In The World. After all these years, it still holds up...

Listening to Techy grumbling about the impending thunderstorm which has kiboshed his bike ride.

I've been outside watching the seagulls queuing up to collect the bones I chucked on the roof for them. We've had thunder approaching for nearly an hour.

He is going anyway. Expecting him back in a hour burnt to a crisp.
