I like the small side articles that get sent in from people who cut them out from newspapers and the strange stories of weird ways of shuffling off this mortal coil.

What you guys like best?

The supplement subscribers get: "Famous Forteans: Nude!!" - obviously the quality varies (no offence but the Karl Shuker special......!!) but when it gets it right!!!

Letters.

When they're more IHTM and not "May i draw your attention to line 8 of last months article where the third word was spelt incorrectly."

Or, "May i draw attention to the fact that my own book/article on subject X is much better than yours."

Ahh, it's all good.

Actually, one of the things I like about the magazine is that it often has insightful articles on science - more so even that some specialist science magazines.

I used to turn straight to the Heirophants column :(

now it's the side articles, and maybe the main ones, and the reviews

Yeah, why don't we mount an expedition to the Himalaya's to storm the Fortress of Arrogance and demand the return of the Heirophant? :D

I love Alien Zoo and the UFO pages.

Letters pages mostly, but the latest articles on UFOs have been interesting, and the sidelines and newspaper headlines are often good.

Actually, I like most of it.

The diversity; but most of all the commitment & dedication of both readers and contributors. Superb!

Yup Yith, I like letters with a IHTM theme which aren't timewasting crap like the feeble 'I fell asleep' one in this issue. Dunno who finds that sort of thing funny.

I agree with the above. However, I get a really guilty pleasure from reading the book reviews that get the really low scores (between 1 and 3).

I believe that the c'est la guerre cartoons deserve an honourable mention. Much funnier and cleverer than Hunt Emersons Phenomenomix, in my humble opinion.

But he does explain the single shoe at the side of the road mystery in issue 199. :D

As an artist, I love the artwork. Much better than any other magazines. Well done Etienne Gilfillan! I always turn to Phenomenomix & Cest la Guerre first and I also enjoy the little cartoons by Martin Ross, Terry Colon etc. And the cover artworks by Severin, Tomlinson - good stuff! :yeay: BTW I bought my very first copy of FT because of the striking illustrated cover - the goatsucker issue. (way back 1994 or 5?)

I like Cover they had with the Castle and in the back and the knight one on a recent issue. FT 196 I think it was. :yeay:
