When I was in my early 20's, I went to two psychics. One was a private reading (in her home) and the other was at a psychic expo. I don't remember much from either, but I do remember the odd comments. I call these odd comments because they were so far out on a limb, and one explained to me very specifically, that I remembered them.
Both psychics told me that I'd be going back to school (I'd just graduated college) and this was at a time that very few people, if any, attended any type of formal education in later years (only young people were in school). I was quite surprised that at the age of 40ish, I quit my job to attend college full time to change careers, and this was my choice, not due to lay off or anything. And I have been back once, since, to complete a full program that took several years of part time to complete. So, that one prediction voiced by two different people - actual psychic info, or a self-fulfilling prophecy?
The other comment made to me by one psychic was that by the time I was 40, I would be wealthy. She then explained that "wealthy" did not mean unbelievably rich, but that I'd have enough money to do whatever I wished. Funny that at the age of 40, I decided I wanted change in my job and then managed to quit my full time job and return to school full time (20 weeks) and did not have to beg, borrow nor steal to do it. The year that I decided to enrol in college again, I spoke to my accountant and he looked into some things and managed to get me a tax refund that basically was enough to work with for the time that I was unemployed. I am not cheap, but I am careful with money and all of this was made possible.
So what to make of it? I don't know.
Neither psychic proclaimed to be speaking to anyone. The one did a tarot reading, the other one just chatted.
I tend to "know" things. That is the only way I can explain it. Nothing majorly important, but just things that get me by in life. I think that everyone has this ability, and it can be called intuition. The degree to which everyone has it, imo, is dependent on how much they pay attention to it and give it credibility. The more you learn to trust your intuition, the better it becomes.
No, I cannot see why anyone would charge someone money to tell them things they already know (if they are truthful to themselves). People will talk to me, and sometimes I will say something that I intuit that might help them out; other times, I say nothing because I know that they don't want to hear it.
I don't see when someone might die, but many times when people I know have been very ill and almost died, I have not worried because I don't feel that they will die. Of course I would never say this to anyone as the people involved would be very upset and think that I am uncaring. Not true.
