Cheers Paul, I read the account of your vigil at The George Hotel in Ashford with interest as I live in Kent, not a million miles from Ashford.
(Frankly, I'm shocked to hear of anything but grey concrete and new houses in Ashford!)
Although you make no mention of the fact in that particular account (I've yet to look at the others), I was wondering whether you use thermometers to monitor temperature changes around haunted sites? If not, it could be well worth setting one up along with the baby monitor. I'm sure you could acquire one that charts change over time or can be remotely 'read'.
Just one other note: you mentioned Khan, the German Shepherd dog, following something imperceptible to yourselves with his eyes. Of course, if as you note, the stimulus was aural, he may have been looking where he expected to see something. His hearing would be not only more sensitive, but, as i'm quite sure you know, encompasses a larger range. After all, your only direct experiences during the vigil were sound-based (debatable orbs excepted) and you noted the now popular explanation of ultra/infra-sonic waves.
Less seriously, would you be upset if I said that your avatar photo outside the Queen's Head pub makes you look really like Toady from Neighbours - Sorry!
