I have been trying to find some photos online of an incident I read about in a magazine some time ago.
It was a story about a camera that was lost or somehow taken by chimpanzees and later recovered. When the photos were developed they showed the chimps, after having taken a couple of photos...
Does anyone have any information about a weird (conditioning, I think) experiment conducted a few years ago in which a man dressed in a bunny suit brought rewards and gifts to a chimp, left the room, then came back in and this time, deliberately terrified the animal.
He'd then leave the room...
I guess this thread is a suitable place to mention today's news story that chimps and humans 'should share grouping'.
I would say that this is generously unanthropocentric of us to share our genus, except that it would surely be less taxonomic hassle to rename us "Pan sapiens"?
Chimp human hybrid
I remember seeing on TV (The fortean TV programme) A bipedal ape that could have been a human chimp hybrid. Anyone have any more info on this?
