cartoon of "pern/drangon quest"

i was watching a prog about scifi/fanasty cartoons (about 10-15 yrs ago) and it showed a clip about lessa (who in turn becomes "chief" wyrewoman of pern) from the book "dragonquest" by anne mccaffrey

has anyone else seen the clip in question?
has the cartoon been finnished?
has it been released yet?
if so where can i get from?

as my flatmates birthday is coming up soon i thought that this would be a good pressie for him as he loves reading anne mccaffreys books esepcialy the pern books

Heard of it, never seen it. Not even sure it still exists.
I believe it wasn't to good. A bit kiddy Hollywood.
However, I will explore my SF contacts and get back to you, but I wouldn't hold out much hope. a hunt a MCCaffrey fan web site might be your best option.
