Story Here

A Warwickshire village is playing host to one of the largest dog dancing competitions in the country.
More than 100 dancing canines have been strutting their stuff in Ryton on Dunsmore since 0830 GMT on Monday morning.

The dogs will be competing in dances as diverse as a reel, jig, waltz or jive with their owners.

The competition has been organised by Canine Freestyle GB, a recently formed group of top trainers who aim to promote the new sport of dog dancing.
er.........[think]RSPCA?[/think]

:hmm:

Is this related to that woman with the collies who "dances" at Crufts every year? It's basically really close heelwork with a few turns in it, making it look like dog and handler are dancing. It looks pretty, and they're lovely dogs who seem to get a kick out of showing off. Nothing more heinous than normal obedience work. I wouldn't bother the RSPCA just yet :)
