Headcorn Faintings?

Hello.

I recently found an old notebook in which I'd written the phrase 'Headcorn Faintings'. Just that, underlined, and - although I'm sure it was made after reading an FT item or article - I can't recall what it was about.

Anything online connecting Headcorn, Kent to matters Fortean falls in the realm of ABCs or hauntings, but I think my note may've related to something more like mass hysteria.

The note would've been made around 1998. Or thenabouts.

Does it ring a bell with anyone?

A quick Google search shows a couple of downloadable docs relating to a parachute club, with students fainting from said place.

Thanks for that Spudrick, I've had a look, but they relate to faintings during parachute training, which seem eminently explicable.

I think I'll have to get my FTs out of storage and have a good dig through them.
