While I've long been aware of the existence of 'mystery schools', I've only recently taken a real interest in them and am still very much skirting round the edges research-wise.
I have a rough idea of the claimed origins of some of these Lodges and Orders but am, as yet, none the wiser about what it is they actually practise or believe. Being 'mystery' schools, they are naturally very coy about going into details on their websites etc and only talk vaguely about 'theosophy', 'occult' and 'traditions'... but I was wondering if anyone has any clues ? (Someone must know something !)
Is group magic(k) indulged in at all, for example ?
Also, of the multitude of British and American Orders - some claiming to have descended from (or to be off-shoots of) The Templars, The Rosicrucians, The Golden Dawn et al, which - if any - still resemble the original orders ???
