Old scar bleeding and scabbing

Hi,
So I had surgery on my arm nearly two years ago, I had a benign tumor removed from my arm! Now the past few days my scar has been bleeding and scabbing up loads, it hasn’t been fine until then and was healed. I have been in the sun but don’t know if that is why. It looks like a scan and it is a bit sore. Should I go to the doctors, or will it just be okay?
