There was once a massive mega-thread (#1575) entitled "People Who Just Disappear", which served as a compendium of stories about people who'd spontaneously vanished and discussions about those stories.

While undergoing revisions and generation of separate threads for certain stories / discussions of substantial size, the thread was lost (vanished from the forum database) in June 2019.

The latest Wayback Machine capture of this lost thread occurred in November 2018 - 7 months before the loss incident.
