Can anyone who has the Unabridged copy help me out here...

There's a poem there, in the chapter about "monster" corpses washing up on beaches and turning out to be basking sharks.

I'd really appreciate it if someone would post the poem, or email it to me, as I remember it being really quite good, and the poor man's abridged version I have omits it entirely. (heathens)

Nup, that's not the one I'm after, although that's a nice one. Cheers for trying

this one was called something like "ode to the monster hunters" and was something of a cry of sorrow that everytime a plesiosaur gets washed up dead on a beach, the skeptics have to ruin it all by saying it's a basking shark.
